Definitely one of the best hotels in Shanghai. I have stayed at different five star hotels and the Peninsula is second to none. However, the breakfast part was disappointing as food quality was just so-so, and there is no juices at the buffet area (servers have to take your beverage orders but apparently very understaffed during CNY).

【投诉】1月30日下午6点值班的大堂经理面貌特征：身高175左右，肤色白，微胖，寸头。在与其沟通提前退房的过程中，将近20分钟没有得到一丁点有用讯息，全是复读机般的推拖之辞，还不如旁边前台小姑娘说的一句话有用，不得不说，当面对一个全程微笑的说屁话的***更让人气愤，我觉得没有尊重我，没有尊重我的时间。服务如果只是微笑的话，那不如摆个笑脸放在前台。服务是需要效用的。带娃过春节，为了带娃方便，在前台付费升级了套房，原定住4晚提前到了3晚，携程定半岛所有房型都是不可退改，因为之前有过退改经验，重点在携程是需要与酒店沟通确认是否同意退改，酒店不同意的原因也就是因为钱，要么想卡住客，要么想卡携程。首先春节不缺客人，而且我额外付费升级了房型，且在前台付费的，不是通过携程付费的，整个订单的费用比之前整体是增加了的。年夜饭，中午餐多数都是在酒店吃的，消费指定不少。所以在这种前提下，就先去与酒店大堂经理沟通，看是否同意退改，如果不同意的话，携程黑钻也会退我90%。所以，在非常明确情况，也非常清晰的，敍述出诉求之后，这位大堂经理，彷佛我是**一样，用机器人客服的套话一遍遍对我进行了听觉侮辱，真太让人恶心，气得我上楼吃完奶油意面直接胃肠炎了，拉肚子吐了一天半。我不觉得是酒店的食品健康问题，就是被恶心导致的。春节氛围感很好，酒店设施也很满意，温度湿度都舒适。套房的整体构造非常好，所以客厅和衣帽间的利用率都很高，住的很舒服。整体服务上也很满意。之前看评价说电视不能投屏，更新下，现在电视是可以投屏的。

Room is clean and service is perfect. Breakfast at the lobby is of highest quality. Location is just 1 traffic light across the bund. Only cons is quite a walk away from mrt. Will definitely be back again!

This is a beautiful hotel in an excellent location on Shanghai’s Bund. The staff in the hotel went above & beyond to provide us with a most enjoyable and memorable New Year’s Eve & New Year’s Day stay. Our rooms were extremely spacious, well equipped and wonderfully soundproofed so we did not hear any road noise or sounds from surrounding rooms. The beds and pillows were super comfortable so we had excellent nights sleep. We needed to borrow a wheelchair which the hotel loaned us without charge which was amazing. If we returned to Shanghai for another special occasion we would definitely consider rebooking The Peninsula

第一次入住上海半岛酒店，一家人都感受到酒店员工热情的款待和专业的服务态度，令我们感到宾至如归。前台员工及餐饮陪员工十分有礼，亲切友善，房间设施也十分user friendly, 整体上可以说是满分了。惟独有好多疑似网红在门口及圣诞树拍照打卡，令人感到有些不舒服，除此以外，整个住宿体验都好好，下次再来上海，一定首选半岛酒店。

本周staycation?? 小时候住天潼路，去外滩是分分钟的事情，走走就到了??长大了住浦东，但是距离外滩也就几公里，半岛作为外滩的老牌五星酒店，尤其是圣诞季??怎么不来住一下？?? 做好了心理准备会有很多非住店的客人拍照，现实情况也是拍照人超多，稍微有点影响，毕竟办理入住的前台地方真的不大? 除此之外无可挑剔，房间的设施维护的很好，超喜欢步入式的衣帽间，美甲的烘干小设计最特别??床品超舒适！我都想买同款枕头啦！隔音虽然差点，但是房间门拉上后，完全就沉浸式入睡了?? 餐饮服务也超棒！房间的送餐服务绝对细致入微，等我们酒吧回来正好吃一碗热腾腾的叻沙！可惜早餐大部分都是西式，建议增加点有上海特色的美食，我们的四大金刚比西式烘焙好吃多了吧！?? 最棒的是服务，真的超超超级好，每个人脸上充满微笑，元气满满，让人一进酒店心情就很好！宾至如归的感觉? 很完美的一个周末，希望这个月还有时间去！感恩??每个服务人员，提前祝?圣诞快乐！

The Peninsula Hotel, which celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary, was perfect. From beginning to end, the service was perfect, and I especially thank the manager 'HARRIS' for doing his best not to ruin our anniversary in person despite small mistakes made by the hotel. Thanks to this, I had a happier and better time.
